ACTIVITIES

 

With some of the most spectacular scenery in the world on your doorstep there is a wealth of walking, cycling and outdoor activities available. You can mackerel fish off the rocks on the beach (so bring your rods!), seals are common place as well as numerous other wildlife including otters, dolphins, porpoises, whales and Sea Eagles. Seal spotting trips are run from nearby Plockton and Kyle. There are also the magical, medieval Brochs in Glen Beag and some spectacular waterfalls and lochens to visit. The Glenelg Inn serves excellent local food from an extensive menu and is a walk away. There is a new Shore Station Cafe which serves delicious coffee and snacks.
