THE HOUSE
Creagan Mhor is a large family house sympathetically decorated to reflect the beauty of the environment. It took more than a decade to restore and we have tried to replace as many of the original features as possible - even down to handmade astragals on the windows. From the spacious entrance hall, there is a huge kitchen/diner attached to an additional airy dining room.
We will be updating some of the pictures to reflect the house as it is in 2026 in the next few weeks.

The large handmade refectory table (an Ash Tree from Inverie) and benches seat 10/12 as well as the dining table (8) which is through an archway into the dining room. Huge windows mean there are spectacular views of mountains and glens wherever you look. The kitchen has two dishwashers, two sinks, two fridges and an AGA, there is also a gas hob and oven. The sitting room has wonderful views to the water, a log fire, two large comfortable sofas and chairs, a large window seat and tv. There is an additional "playroom" with a TV and two large sofas for our younger guests. The back door gives access to the large boot room with sink, washing machine and dryer and more fridge and freezer space. This also leads to the kitchen - which is an ideal space for dogs to sleep as it can be closed off.

The extension to the house is found off the dining room and leads upstairs to a separate double room and twin bedded room with family bathroom. Upstairs in the main house there is a double room with a Super King bed and ensuite, with views out to sea, a large double room, again with views out to sea, another double and a children's room with four single beds. All the double rooms have cot space. There is also a large family bathroom with heated towel rails. The Bath is original and was once used by Bing Crosby who visited the area to play golf. Two of the three showers are electric so no matter how wet the walk, or how cold the swim there's always buckets of hot water to go round!
